Infrared Trichrome Work
Color infrared film has been discontinued for over a decade. That being said, it doesn’t mean you can’t create color infrared photos on film. Using a process know as Trichrome Photography, Casey creates vibrant color infrared photos using infrared sensitive black & white film. The process consists of shooting multiple identical photos, which each individual photo uses a different color filter which isolate different color wave lengths. After development and scanning Casey layers and stacks these photos to create a single color infrared photo.
